Creating a company culture that will boost your team’s success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes some careful thought and planning, and requires that entrepreneurs think about the kind of culture that will help their employees thrive.
Here are a few tips to help you develop a company culture that will boost you team’s success:
Broadening our perspective can often inspire the best new ideas. That’s why I encourage my employees to work together. When we’re working together as a team rather than focusing solely on individual tasks, we create an opportunity for new ideas sparked through collaboration.
Do you have a space in your office reserved for motivating and inspiring your team? At LexION we’ve created a wall where we can post quotes, phrases and anything else that inspires us. Not only does it liven up the workspace but it also reminds us of our mission statements and why we do what we do.
I encourage my team to take turns bringing in their four-legged, furry friends into the office. Having a dog at work has shown to decrease worker stress by 70%, and it’s a rule I swear by. When I know I won’t be busy with meetings, I often bring my rescue pup Magic into work and she helps in even the most stressful situations.
